Aerodium
Vertical wind tunnels with an artificial wind stream that creates a free-fall effect. Used both
as a recreational activity and by athletes for bodyflight training. To create new brand
identity and guidelines for brand development into new segments (fashion, culture,
entertainment), geographical expansion (new countries and cities) and different business
models (e.g. franchise). Besides of new brand identity - one that portrays the sensations of
flight, free-falling and levitation - an open, flexible corporate identity system was created
based on “open-source” principles. It gives both brand owners and consumers the chance to
develop and adapt Aerodium style, or even create their own, without losing sight of the
shared identity.
